教育評鑑理論會因為一國教育體系的任務、社會結構與文化差異而在實務運作上有不同詮釋。透過國際間教育評鑑研究取向比較之結果應可作為教育政策規劃及學術研究參考。本研究使用內容分析法與比較研究法,分析臺灣與美國兩國自1993年至2003年以教育評鑑為題論文。經描述、解釋、併排,及比較等步驟,目的在瞭解兩國教育評鑑文獻在研究領域、主題,及研究取向差異情形。最後本研究以臺灣教育評鑑理論研究及實務運作為主題,參考美國教育評鑑研究取向之特徵,擬出數項建議供臺灣學術研究及實務運作參考。
The purpose of this study is to explore research approaches on educational evaluation between Taiwan and the United States. This study acquires and analyzes 905 articles between 1993-2003 from Chinese Electronic Thesis & Dissertation System, Chinese Publication & Journal System, Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC), and ProQuest Digital Dissertations. Content analysis and comparative study are conducted to describe, define, and compare differences and similarities of research approaches between the two nations. At the end of study, we provide some suggestions and implications for Taiwan's schools as well as future researches on the subject.
