本文首先分別陳述說明後設認知與創造力的意義、源起以及相關理論後，進而提出一個統合性的創新理論構想——美塔學（Metalogy），並藉由說明美塔學的理論源起和相關意涵後，提出其應用在教育上的實例，藉以說明此理論之可應用性。
