This study’s main purpose is to understand the relation between the child care workers toward their elderly attitude and involvement intention. The study used a questionnaire survey to collect the data. Questionnaires were used with the child care workers in public and contracting-out of statutory in Taipei. There were 379 valid questionnaires collected. The data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVAs, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis, and the main results were as follows:The attitude of the child care workers toward their elderly was with the overall positive trend in general, though some negative was also observed. The child care workers toward their elderly involvement intention, was with the overall trend of positive. Different personal background variables of the child care workers toward their elderly attitude and involvement intention are different. The child care workers toward their elderly attitude and involvement intention have a significant positive correlation. The attitude of the child care workers toward their elderly will affect the child care workers toward their elderly involvement intention. According to the findings above, suggestions are proposed for the child care workers, and government officials by further providing training programs to promote the use of intergenerational programs and services to children and the elderly as a platform for contacts.
