一般論及干將莫邪鑄劍故事，大抵以「復仇觀」為討論中心，本文則希冀藉由鑄劍事件中的以身投爐為出發點，透過《吳越春秋》所隱含的原始思維和冶煉的歷史成因，擴大探討相似情節的意涵。就「以身投爐」的行動而言，包含著春秋末期戰爭頻繁的冶煉文化，另一方面，則蘊藏了古代人祭儀式的區塊，它所代表的是對於神秘力量的敬畏，故需要仰賴犧牲與代價，獲得自我的所需。其次，這樣的「煉身」同時也代表著人在面對事件之際的抉擇，而這種抉擇背後又顯露出上位者對於生死的操控，在憂懼與宗君的莫可奈何之下，傳達了這種捨身的死亡觀。

When we talk about the forging swords written of Gan-jiang and Mo-xie,mainly focuses from the view of revenge. By the body jumping furnace in forging swords as the starting point,this thesis intention is to explore similar plot to expand the meaning, implying original thinking and historical of Wu-Yue-Chun-Qiu. On "to the body jumping furnace" action,including the late stage of the Spring and Autumn Period frequent wars smelting culture. On the other hand, it indicates the ancient human sacrifice ritual, it represents the power of awe for the mystery.Besides,this kind of "smelting body" also represents the people faced with a choice in the forging swords event. And this choice reveal fear ,loyalty and concept of suicide deaths under the king's Manipulation of life and death.
