　　　　　本文敘述了原駐雲南和緬寮邊境之中華民國陸軍第93師（即所謂的孤軍）及其後裔近半世紀來的歷史。他們先後與傳統中華民國國族-國家、中華人民共和國國族國家、緬甸國旗-國家、泰國國族-國家、及新中華民國國族-國家等五個在不同時空中自我建構的國旗-國家（nation-state）產生互動關係。這個由軍隊銳變而成之特殊社群的歷史，清楚地凸顯或反映了上述各國族-國家客觀形成、自我、互動往來、以及質性變遷等各種作用過程展現的事實。
　　　　　In this paper, I describe the historical processes of a KMT's troop, that originally stationed alongside the border of Yunnan and Burma, but then nearly half of them never left from northern Thailand, in previous five decades. They have intensively interacted to five self-constructing nation-states: China-based Republic of People's Republic of China, People's Republic of China, Burma, Thailand, and Taiwan-based Republic of Through an ethno-historical study of such a social group transformed from military, we can understand the objective formation, self-maintenance, mutual-interaction characteristics changing among those nation-states.
