This study examined: a.) the impact of a re-creative co-ed sports team culture; b.) the leadership strategy of re-creative coed sports team culture; and c.) the effects of the co-ed sports team. The subjects included one female coach and 22 cheerleaders (12 males and 10 females) from Shih Chien University. An action research approach was applied through open questionnaires, interviews, participation and observation, and collection of all sorts of information. The triangular analysis was used to lay out new leading strategies and then reenter the investigation scene. Three different levels of research cycle had been performed from September 2004 to June 2005. The results, through discussion, were gained: first, there were six elements-"sports techniques", "sports participation", "team interaction", "values", "team standard", and "team symbol"-when facing the impact of a recombined co-ed sports team culture; and second, through recreating group culture, the effects of co-ed sports would be greatly enhanced.
