This article discusses Nantou's neo-literature since Japanese Rule, through their effort and dedication, outlining the evolutional track of Nantou's neo-literature, and hereby, present "Maps of Meaning" of Nantou, interpreting Nantou to be one of Taiwan's cultural gallery, how its cultural meaning is built through writing of literature authors. By the works of Nantou literature authors such as Wu Kuen-Hwang (吳坤煌)、 Wu Yong-Fu (巫永福)、 Chang Shen-Chieh (張深切)、 Lan Hong-Liuh (藍紅綠)、 Chen Chien-Wu (陳千武), this article sums up to five exemplification: discourse, practice, diversity, determination, and criticism. Through modeling of these five exemplification, one can already see how they have carved out the heart and soul of Nantou's neo-literature, and influencing the future, forming undertone but generous, simple but deliberate quality in Nantou's neo-literature. Such a writing style differs in culture and geography from each county of Taiwan, not only special difference, but also through neo-literature's development since Japanese Rule; it's Nantou's Neo-literature authors showing forth the special geography and art through writing, embodied the dimensions of cultural Meaning, in these dimensions, Nantou's authors and Nantou's geographic conditions and landscape formed the chains of attentive care between minds concerning the aura of such meanings.
