課程行動研究藉由實踐者即研究者的立場,將系統思考所獲得的資料,透過公開的形式加以表述,形成可以對話的實踐論述。近年國內外有許多教育者,批評課程行動研究被視為個人賦權增能的一種形式,著力於教室內或學校中的問題的解決,或個人專業能力上的獲得,形成一種各自表述,對隱含在課程改進中的社會文化脈絡較乏批判討論的視野。本文關心課程行動研究在面對個人的課程實踐問題時,應以更廣的視野將課程問題置放於社會組織、文化、經濟、政治等權力架構下思維,產生催化效度,誘發公共論辯啟蒙作用,發揮社會文化重建的潛在影響力。首先分析課程行動研究中的實踐論述特性及意圖,其次藉由已發表的課程行動研究論文,進行整合研究,探討行動研究偏向自我服務的表述樣態,最後對導向社會文化關懷的實踐論述提出一些主張。
Curriculum action research can be seen a public form of practical discourses done by practitioners systematically collecting information about curriculum practice. This paper argues that some action research has concentrated on the concern of self-service instead of the caring of broad social purposes. Due to the orientation of self-service, curriculum action research hardly evokes public dialogue. To initiate the enlightened function of action research on social caring around curriculum practice, this paper intends to interpret the nature of practice discourse, to analyze the phenomena of self-service orientation, and to propose some approaches for future curriculum action research.
