人口遷移理論主要以經濟利得與生活寧適性做為切入角度，然而本文由過去文獻卻發現人口持續移往相對地租較高的地區，因而興起由社會文化、個人價值與遷移行為間影響的角度做探討。本文藉由了解青年人口價值類型與地區條件之關聯性，提供政府部門對於青年勞動族群關鍵遷移因素的構面，以實證式問卷測量、統計分析，探討青年人口價值觀上的改變對於人口遷移因素的影響。 研究發現年齡較輕的青年人口比年齡較長的青年人口，更為傾向後物質價值；戶籍地與15歲前的成長地部分，相對較富裕縣市的青年人口有比其他縣市的青年人口，更為傾向後物質價值。物質價值傾向的青年人口，偏向選擇物質條件環境的比例較高，而混合價值傾向的青年人口，偏向混合條件環境的比例較高，持有後物質價值傾向的青年人口，偏向後物質條件環境的比例較高。
In theory of population migration, two major points of view are “economic benefits” and “amenity of life”. However, this research found that people still migrated to the places where had higher charge for rental than others. For the reason, the research tried to discuss from the affect relations among the social culture, the individual value and the migration behavior and provided suggestion of factors of youth labor migration to authority. This case study of youth included questionnaire and analysis of statistics, treated affection of value change of youth to factors of population migration. The study found that younger age of the youth population is more post-material than the older age of the youth population; about the household register place and before 15 year-old growth place, the youth from the richer city and county is more post-material than any other youth. The youth who slants towards the materialism value tendency has higher ratio to choose physical conditions environment, the youth who slants towards the mixed value tendency has higher ratio to have a preference for the mixing condition environment, and the youth who slants towards the post-materialism value tendency has higher ratio to have a preference for the physical conditions environment.
