This paper intended to realize the relationship between parents' childrearing styles and students' frustration tolerance for the fifth and sixth grade students in elementary schools. There were 354 fifth-grade and sixth-grade students selected from public elementary schools in Chiayi City participated in the Childrearing Style Scale (CSS) and Frustration Tolerance Scale (FTS). Following results were obtained: (1) The elementary students' parents emphasized childrearing on the request facet over the reply facet. (2) parents' childrearing measure were moderately and positively correlated with students' frustration tolerance. (3) Students' frustration tolerances were moderately predicted by mother's reply, father's request, and other demographic variables, such as father's social economy status and the students who are the only one child.
