題名:風災重建後屏東縣阿禮部落西魯凱族語言活力之研究

本文欲探討屏東縣西魯凱族阿禮部落與吉露部落族語遷村至永久屋後之語言活力,以深度訪談與問卷調查探討研究問題如(1)問卷了解西魯凱族母語使用情形;(2)深入訪談西魯凱族大頭目有關族語流失的現況;(3)運用蘭德偉爾的「八大瀕危語言之民族語言活力指標」所做出的問卷,分析在天災和遷村劇變後西魯凱語之現況,探討如何提升語言活力;研究結果顯示居住地與語言活力有正相關的關係,永久村居民學習族語明顯高於其他地區,居住在其他地區的族人處於不利族語學習的現實,應正視此問題以保護珍貴之文化遺產。
This research is attempting to probe into the language vitality of the Western Ali Tribe and Jilu Tribe in Pingtung County which by means of in-depth interview and questionnaire to understand the research question as the subsequently. (1) Understanding the usage of Western Rukai language through questionnaire; (2) Investigating the loss condition of Western Rukai language by in-depth interview with the leader of Western Rukai tribe; (3) Utilizing Landweer's Indicators of Ethnolinguistic Vitality to explore the current condition which the Ali tribe and Jilu tribe had undergone the typhoon and relocation catastrophe. The research outcome has demonstrated that the language vitality is highly related to one's residence, it is obvious that the villager who has lived in the permanent house can have better learning Western Rukai language condition. As a consequent, we should encounter this issue seriously to protect invaluable culture heritage.
