一九一九年臺灣首份發行的漢文雜誌由臺灣文社發起，雜誌中小說的刊載為每期固定專欄，並呈現新、舊並重之趨勢。而《臺灣文藝叢誌》中小說創作的源頭除了受《臺灣日日新報》以來日本漢文小說的書寫模式影響之外，另一方面則是中國小說的轉載與改寫，在中日台三地背景的混生之下，形成《臺灣文藝叢誌》中小說文體特有的書寫形式。二○年代，西方新學的出現雖讓漢學受挫，但也讓文人意識到時代的變遷，興起維新念頭，藉由翻譯外國小說的過程，了解東西小說創作模式的差異，並朝新小說創作之路邁進。繼而探討《臺灣文藝叢誌》中小說人物形象背後的典範由來，由於台灣社會對「節孝」風氣的提倡與重視，影響所及小說中女性形象的塑造也以此為基準

This text content will talk the transplantation and inherited of the novel phenomenon from ＂Taiwan Wen-I Tsung-Chih ＂, the first Chinese magazine issued in Taiwan by the Taiwan Wen-She in 1919, the publication of the novel is each regular special column in the magazine, and presentation of both the old and new trends.
