Globalization is not a choice, but a reality. How to cope with the mega trend of globalization, provide students appropriate opportunities to learn from, and deal with global issues are major educational agenda at this time. This paper depicted the curriculum framework of global education and reviewed related research in Taiwan. A new model, called “global perspective curriculum of civic action approach” was proposed. This new curriculum model, proceeding with dual core values of justice and caring, aims to enhance students’ active global citizenship.
