本研究目的旨在探討美國公園、休閒、旅遊及相關專業認證學會（Council on Accreditation of Park, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions, COAPRT）與臺灣高等教育評鑑中心（Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan）認證休閒相關學系成立情形，利用文獻探討和資料收集，探究臺美休閒學門發展概況，作為臺灣休閒相關學系發展與現況之參考。研究發現：（一）美國與臺灣休閒相關學系評鑑制度之差異；（二）臺灣休閒相關學系成長速度趨緩。提出以下建議：（一）臺灣高教評鑑中心可參照美國COAPRT發展及評鑑標準，調整臺灣休閒相關學系評鑑過程；（二）臺灣休閒相關學系成長快速，應及早因應轉型。

The purpose of this study was to explore the different bachelor program evaluation processes of Recreation Related Programs (RRPs) between Council on Accreditation of Park, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT) in Unite States and Higher Education Evaluation Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT). The methodology involved literature review and material collections for finding out the critical points and extract evidence records on revealing the developments of RRPs in both Taiwan and the United States. The results indicated: (1) the major differences between assessment of COAPRT in the U.S. and HEEACT in Taiwan when approve RRPs accreditations. (2) The current RRPs situations and related departments developments were getting slowly in Taiwan. The recommendations offered: (1) the HEEACT evaluation process may follow the development and current evaluation criteria of COAPRT to restructure accreditation process of HEEACT for RRPs in Taiwan. (2) the transformations were suggested to overcome the rapid growth of related RRPs in Taiwan.
