In an action research, collaborative reflection and self-reflection are essential. Collaborative reflection refers to a discussion with participants of the study and self-reflection refers to the participant’s individual thoughts. The purpose of this article is to explore the nature of collaborative reflection utilizing the principles of educational action research. The researcher proposes feasible techniques and appropriate attitudes of collaborative reflection. Researchers who wish to conduct an action research are suggested to supply these techniques and attitudes to the collaborative reflection discussion. The techniques are adjustable depending on the situation. The researcher believes that more action research will facilitate our knowledge and broaden our view on the effect of collaborative reflection on action research.
