In terms of the three functions of law, which are respectively social control, settlements of disputes, and social engineering, this paper discusses the essence of law education in Han Fei's philosophy. It further analyzes the character of Han Fei's law education-anti-intellectualism, including animosity and doubt about human reason as well as rejection of intellectuals. Han Fei's law education, showing the control and unification of thinking, is guideline for absolutism and exerted influence on Li Si and the Emperor of the Chin Dynasty.
