  處於二十一世紀初、環境變換的速度更為瞬息萬變的時代,博物館無論是組織的角色、功能、營運型態、組織成員的組成、以及與觀眾的關係上,皆有相當大的轉變。這些轉變致使博物館在承續過去、探索現在、以及測試未來上,都必須有更深切的思考,也涉及了關於博物館組織認定這個關鍵的問題。本文回顧有關組織認定的相關文獻,檢視組織認定的定(意)義、相關研究關切的重要議題、及其研究成果,探討組織認定對博物館的意義和重要性,以及博物館有關組織認定的相關研究方向。
