The fast development of new technologies and the strong desire of promoting industries have dramatically changed the career development for the human resources with the major in the area of Industrial Engineering and Management (IE&M). As a result, significant impacts have been imposed on the current curriculum of IE&M. Hence, it is necessary to modify or redesign the content of courses of IE&M to fulfill the needs of current and future job market. The survey of the current job market has been conducted. The relationship between the professional skills and the core courses for the graduates of the IE&M has been investigated. The results of the investigation have been used to develop an ideal curriculum for the IE&M based on both the objective model, proposed by Tyler, and the cluster concept in vocational education.
