     我國第一所工業工程與管理系於民國四十四年創立,至今已四十多年,隨著新的科學與管理技術迅速發展,及產業環境的劇烈改變,工業工程與管理系之課程亦已大幅革新,近二、三年來國科會與教育部對本相關科系之課程改革相當重視,補助經費予若干個研究計畫,而本研究亦是其中之一,為了彌補先前研究對課程理論及教育研究法之不足,特別以泰勒的目標模式為主要的課程理論基礎,應用教育研究方法中之調查研究法為主要方法,利用群集職業教育之課程架構,再輔以工業工程與管理之專業領域,提出此一有關課程設計之研究,以期提供技職體系工業工程與管理系教師一個方向,以使讀該系之學生藉由課程的革新獲致更符合產業界需要的專業技能。
     The fast development of new technologies and the strong desire of promoting industries have dramatically changed the career development for the human resources with the major in the area of Industrial Engineering and Management (IE&M). As a result, significant impacts have been imposed on the current curriculum of IE&M. Hence, it is necessary to modify or redesign the content of courses of IE&M to fulfill the needs of current and future job market. The survey of the current job market has been conducted. The relationship between the professional skills and the core courses for the graduates of the IE&M has been investigated. The results of the investigation have been used to develop an ideal curriculum for the IE&M based on both the objective model, proposed by Tyler, and the cluster concept in vocational education.
