本研究的主履盾的是在調查並了解淡江大學學生的運動行為、運動態度及運動認知等運動狀況,以參加八十九年度至九十二年度「教育部體適能護照計劃」的二三一四名學生為研究對象,平均年齡男生18.84歲,女生18.22歲,分析討論四年的資料後獲結果如下: 學生的運動知識主要來自電視、錄影帶、收音機、平均每週運動男生1.87天,女生1.30天;每次運動時間男生56.37分鐘,女生30.80分鐘;男生有規律運動習慣者30.63%,女生22.78%,男女合計25.88%;男生較喜歡激烈運動、女生較喜歡中度運動;最常做的運動項目男生依序為籃球、慢跑、排球,女生為走路、慢跑、籃球。學生對「運動可以增強體力、有益身心健康、控體重、經解壓力」,有很高的認同度,但僅62.5%學生利用課餘時間運動。學生對體重控制、改善心肺適能及腹部肌肉適能的運動方式認知較高,但對提升健康體適能的運動時間、運動頻率與運動強度等認知較低。 經過本研究結果獲得如下結論:學生雖有正面的運動態度,但運動習慣與運動認知仍需加強。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the exercise behaviors, exercise attitudes and exercise cognition of 22314 Tamkang University (TKU) students who participated in the “Physical Fitness Passport Project” sponsored by the Ministry of Education from 2000 to 2003. The average age of the male students was 18.84 years, and female students 19.22 years. The detailed results of the analysis of data collected over four years are as follows: Most exercise knowledge of the students came from television, videotape, and radio broadcasting. Male students took exercise 1.87 days per week, 56.37 minutes each time, and always liked to do more vigorous exercise. Their favorite sports were basketball, jogging and volleyball. Meanwhile, the female students took exercise 1.30 days per week, 30.80 minutes each time, and preferred moderate exercise such as walking, jogging and basketball. 30.63% of the male students were accustomed to have regular exercise compared with 22.78% of the female students; in other words, a total of 25.88% of all students did exercise regularly. Only 62.5% of the students took exercise after school although they were well aware that exercise can develop physical fitness and can benefit the body, mental health, weight control, and stress release. The student’s cognition rate of how to control body weight, the mode of improving cardiorespiratory fitness, and abdominal muscular faintness was higher than the contrition rate of exercise duration, exercise frequency, and intensity as ways to promote health-related physical fitness. The conclusion of this study showed: the students had a high positive attitude about exercise although the exercise habit and exercise cognition should be improved.
