The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation, problems and solutions to human resource management in public universities faculty in Taiwan. To fulfill the study purpose, the researchers firstly reviewed related literature of Human Resource Management and researched in detail the four core practices of Strategic Human Resource Management; namely faculty recruitment, compensation, development, and evaluation. Secondly, the researchers interviewed eight experts to analyze the current situation, problems and solutions to human resource management in public universities faculty in Taiwan, and ultimately drew up significant conclusions.
