本研究針對卓蘭鎮饒平客家話的單字調的調長、調形與調值進行實驗語音學分析，並將研究結果與傳統調查相互比較。本研究的發音人共計10名，中老年層，男女各半。他們透過發音字表，以固定的速率唸讀饒平客家話的6個單字調，每個調含6個例字，每個例字唸5次，截頭去尾切取中間3次進行分析，故總共獲得1080個語音樣本。本研究首先利用PRAAT對語音樣本進行音高分析與音長測量、之後再進行音高標準化，最後則利用標準化後的音高平均值及標準差繪製聲調格局圖。卓蘭饒平客家話六個聲調的聲學分析結果如下：陰平［31］、陽平［53］、上聲［41］、去聲［43］、陰入［31］、陽入［4］，且六個聲調均可透過基頻長度、基頻均值與基頻斜率等聲調感知參數來彼此區分。就調長而言，本研究與傳統調查的結果一致，舒聲調均長於入聲調。就調形與調值而論，本研究在陰平、陰入等聲調的調形與調值呈現出不同於傳統調查的結果。就方言接觸來說，本研究顯示卓蘭饒平客家話的聲調受東勢大埔客家話的聲調影響很深。最後，本研究也將研究成果與相關議題（如語言使用的性別差異、語言接觸所造成的調值變異等）進行相互連結。

This study acoustically explored the durations, contours and values of the citation tones of Raoping Hakka in Zhuolan Township, comparing the result of this study with those of traditional fieldwork investigations. Ten informants, five males and five females, took part in this study. Informants were asked to read a word list with six tones in Raoping Hakka and with six words for each tone. Each word was successively read five times, and the middle three were segmented for analysis, so the total number of speech samples was 1080. This study utilized PRAAT to analyze pitch and measure pitch duration, followed by pitch normalization. Eventually, the means and standard deviations of the normalized pitches of each tone in Raoping Hakka were utilized to finish charts of tone patterns. According to the results, the six tones in Raoping Hakka were Yinping[31], Yangping[53], Shangsheng[41], Qusheng[43], Yinru[31] and Yangru[4]. All tones can be distinguished in terms of F_0 duration, F_0 mean and F_0 slope. As for F_0 duration, this study was similar to traditional investigations, for non-checked tones were longer than checked tones. In terms of F_0 contour and value, this study differed from traditional investigations in Yinping and Yinru. As for dialect contact, this study showed that Dongshi Dapu Hakka has a strong influence on Zhuolan Raoping Hakka. Finally, this study also discussed several issues that were relevant to the research results, like gender difference in language use and tonal variation.
