     本研究旨在探討兒童課後進行哪些日常文化活動及各種活動之結構,並去瞭解兒 童在各類文化活動中如何參與及其參與程度。以五個開放性問題深入晤談40位三年級兒童, 即在新竹縣市之山區、海邊、鄉村、市區、郊區各選取八名。以質性研究法分析資料。研究 結果顯示:兒童課後從事之文化活動為:課後寫學校功課、上補習班、做家務、玩玩具、玩遊 戲、運動等七類。兒童在各類文化活動之參與程度不同,依其在活動中所能掌握的專業知能 和社會化能力之程度,及其在活動中被提供多少與專業知能相關的學習機會的兩個向度是決 定兒童在活動中是屬於「不參與」、「部分參與」、「不完全參與」、「完全參與」和「核心參與」 的哪一個學習階段。本研究分析兒童在家裡經營生意的情境脈絡中、自己單獨購物時、與父 母一起購物時、玩遊戲和玩玩具時及民俗節日時…等社會情境脈絡下參與活動之程度。本研 究發現:文化認知與學校數學的衝突可能是造成「學校數學」與「日常生活數學」脫節的原因 之一;本研究於文末提供建議教師在情境設計之參考。
     The purpose of the study was to explore the cultural activities which children were engaged in daily life and to understand the ways of participating in the cultural activities. Forty-third graders selected from Hsin-Chu area were interviewed with six grand questions. The findings of the study showed that doing school homework, going cramming school, doing housework, playing toys, playing games, and doing exercises were children's common cultural activities. Each child participated in activity differently. The indicators of deciding the degree of participation were the abilities of specialization and socialization of handling an activity and the amount of learning opportunities provided by adults. Five learning processes of children participation in activities, 「no participation」,「partial participation」,「incomplete participation」,「complete participation」 ,「kernel participation」 , were defined in the social contexts of running a business, go shopping by himself/herself, go shopping with adults, playing games and toys , and celebrating on conventional festivals. We also found that the conflict between cultural cognition and school mathematics could be an influencing factor of the 「school mathematics」 disconnected with 「mathematics」. Some suggestions about teaching were made.
