Multicultural teacher education curricula are important to the cultivation of future teachers with multicultural competencies and abilities. With a focus on ethnic-related issues, including those of new immigrants, this study employed the Delphi technique to construct the content of and strategies for multicultural teacher education curricula. Eighteen scholars from teacher education programs and 12 in-service teachers participated in this study and completed 3 rounds of Delphi surveys. Results show that a total of 66 items are included in the content of and strategies for multicultural teacher education curricula. It is suggested that teacher education programs may take the results of this study into consideration while developing curricula to foster and strengthen preservice teachers’ higher-level multicultural competencies and practical abilities through diverse hands-on opportunities.
