In order to elevate Taiwan’s competitiveness, Taiwan has dvoted to cultivating high tech manpower and specialists in every walk. Yet the neglect of ethics and morality in general educatioin has led to the failure in further probing into fundamental and important issues regarding life phlosophy, civil responsibility, life values, etc. It also gives rise to student’s failure in resolving problems whatever in life or duty performance, and to the disobedience of rational principles in ethics and justice, which might result in law violation, the defiance of moralities, and to the extent of ruining one’s life or fame. Three purposes of the essay are: (1)to design the course of “Professional Ethics and Morality” in general education; (2)to discuss the practical operation of the course; and (3)to evaluate the result of the program. We expect to foster students the concepts of basic professional ethics and morality so as to correct their attitude at work, recall the good in their nature and ethic consciousness, and further to reduce social events, and to do them justice. Approaches applied here in this essay are literature review, interview and questionnaire. The possible contribution of this essay might be: (1)students’ involvement in course subject design; (2)the success of case education by means of analyzing social events; (3)realization of concepts into specific behavior via the withness of goodwill.
