This research was an integrated study of three years. The purpose of the research was to develop a model and a set of instrument to evaluate teaching practice, professional skills and teaching competencies for teachers of living technology at junior high schools. The methodology for the research included a literature review, panel discussion, and questionnaire investigation. The first step of the research was to observe the pre-service teacher's teaching. Some of the instruments mentioned above were made through referring to both domestic and foreign documentation. Then, the draft of these instruments was revised several times by experts and scholars to establish their validity. Finally, the formal evaluation and their statistics were conducted to set up the reliability of these instruments. These instruments would become important and be applied to educational authorities to evaluate teachers. At last, the related conclusions and suggestions were proposed.
