本文以中小學的課程銜接為焦點,比較台灣、英格蘭與蘇格蘭的情形。在前言交待了本研究的緣起,並詮譯本研究中的重要用語。第二部分則交待進行此一比較研究的理據。第三部分以課程決定的層級為觀照的架構,將台灣、英格蘭與蘇格蘭三地中小學的課程銜接情形,在各個層級上進行比較。本節在實質面向所反映的是:中小學的課程銜接在各個課程決定層級的圖像;在方法的面向則回應了比較教育研究中多層級分析的精神。
