The main object of the writing is to inquire the relation between cultural difference and national identity, and make some suggestions for Taiwan aboriginal education. The aboriginals’ worldviews and epistemology are replaced by the Hans’ after they have been used the Han language, and the main reason is that there is not any difference between aboriginal people and Han people. The aboriginals lose the subjective position and are assimilated to Han culture when they speak Han language maturely. The cultural difference is a starting point for the national identity, and is a baseline for maintaining national subjective position. There are some suggestions for the aboriginal education in the future: to have aboriginal writing words; to have self-writing opportunities and make aboriginal knowledge; to construct national discourse.
