Quality Classroom Teaching Action Project is a curriculum development project undertaken by eleven Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Primary Schools with the support of the Quality Education Fund. In view of the recent plight that several proposed reforms in Hong Kong education curriculum remain stagnant, the project has utilized the funding to alleviate the workload of teachers by supplementing teaching manpower; and helping teachers in lining up school-based curriculum action task forces with an aim to improve classroom teaching quality through action studies. The project also attempts to give schools impetus in promoting and improving the organizational culture of school cooperation; and strives for efficiency and effectiveness of teaching and learning as a whole.
