結構方程模型可以用來探討多個構念間的關係,在管理與行為科學中,有時研究者關注徑路係 數是否顯著,有時關注數個徑路係數間大小,有時則關注中介效果(徑路係數的乘積)是否存在。 透過卡方差異檢定,我們可以檢驗這些關於徑路係數的假設與資料的一致程度。本研究建議了以卡 方差異檢定檢驗徑路係數時的檢定力程序,並以本學報之三篇研究為例,說明如何進行此一程序。 研究者可以據以決定對應足夠檢定力的樣本數,或進一步搭配適當研究設計以降低所需樣本數。
Through structural equation modeling, researchers can explore relationship between several constructs. In management and behavioral sciences, researchers may be interested in whether an effect exists or not, comparing effects of different constructs on the other construct and whether mediation effect (product of path coefficients) exists or not. By setting constraint about path coefficients, researchers can test the above specific hypotheses with chi-squared difference test. The research proposed a power analysis procedure for testing constraint about path coefficients and demonstrated the procedure based on three studies in this journal. With the proposed procedure, researchers can determine required sample size to achieve desired power, and further, to reduce required sample size by appropriate research design.
