The development of economic, medical, and educational systems in China has brought about new changes in the school education system. Teachers must now also strive for innovative teaching methods to increase students' willingness to learn as well as their creativity. In recent years, teachers in the country have tended to be of elderly age. This has led to misunderstanding of elderly teachers in society, with some believing the lack of creativity and mobility in elderly teachers to be major impediments to innovation in education. This study uses two-factor theory to provide schools with strategies to enhance the creative teaching performance of elderly teachers and enables teachers to be willing to work, discover new teaching methods, improve teaching quality, and create self-worth.
