The purpose of this study is to explore the mthod of the delphi technique and its application in curriculum study. Literature review is employed and includes four parts. First, basic principles of the delphi technique is discussed: Structured communication of information, anonymity of group decision-making, and judgement of experts. Second, the design of the delphi technique is discussed, including five elements: organizing study panel, selecting delphi panel, making instrument, administrating iterative questionares, and analyzing data. Third, the decision-making characteristic of curriculum studies is investigated and examples are drawn to illustrate the application of the delphi technique. Finally, some limitations and prospect of the delphi technique are presented.
