　　　　　本研究旨在瞭解都市與鄉村兒童的學習成就之影響因素，並比較他們在父母教養 方式、學習行為、生活適應、成就動機、自我概念上之差異情形，以及探討父母教養方式對 都市與鄉村兒童的學習成就、學習行為、生活適應、成就動機之影響。研究對象取自臺中師 院輔導區臺灣中部四縣市國民小學各一所學校的五年級學生，包括高、中、低家庭社經水準 男女各六名，都市與鄉村學童共 72 名。在研究過程中，採用「瑞文氏非文字推理測驗」、 「五年級國語科成就測驗」、「五年級數學科成就測驗」、「父母教養方式問卷」、「學習 行為量表」、「小學人格測驗」、「生活經驗問卷」、「兒童自我態度問卷」等標準化測驗 工具，進行量的分析；再輔以訪談，進行質的探討。研究結果發現：（一）排除智力因素後 ，不論國語科或數學科的學業成就，都市兒童皆優於鄉村兒童。（二）在家庭社經水準方面 ，不論都市或鄉村兒童，其社經背景與學習成就均有正相關。（三）在學習行為、成就動機 、自我概念、學習成就方面，都市兒童均優於鄉村兒童。（四）都市兒童以「高關懷、低權 威」的父母教養方式為最多；鄉村兒童以「低關懷、低權威」的父母教養方式為最多。（五 ）都市與鄉村兒童的父母教養方式，皆以「愛護」層面對其學習行為、生活適應、成就動機 、自我概念最具影響力。（六）逐步迴歸分析結果，都市兒童以「成就動機」、「家庭社經 水準」為重要的預測變項；鄉村兒童則以「對外界接納的態度」、「社會技能」為重要的影 響力。（七）訪談結果，智力相當而學習成就差異較大的都市與鄉村兒童，其影響之主要因 素為地區性之差異，間接影響父母教養方式以及孩子之學習行為、生活適應、成就動機與自 我概念。
　　　　　The purpose of the study is to understand the influence factors related to the learning achievement for children in city and in countryside and compared the differences in their parents' teaching methods, learning behaviors, life adaptation, motivation of achievement and self-concept. The subjects of this study including 72 fifth-grade students from city and 72 fifth-grade students from countryside. Based on the question naire tests, and interviews, the major findings were as follows: (1) Children from city are better in literature and mathe matics achievement than those from countryside without discussing intelligent factor. (2) there is significant relation-ship between social-economic status and learning achievement. (3) children in city are better in learning behavior, motivation for achievement, self-concept, learning achievement than those from countryside. (4) The teaching methods of parents in city is "high-care, low authority" but the parents in countryside is more "low-care, low authority". (5) The most important factor that influence children's learning behavior, life adaptation. motivation of achievement and self-concept is "love" for both side parents. (6) The important factor in ANOVA for children in city are "motivation achievement" and "social-economic status" for children in countryside are "The acceptance attitude from outside" and "social skills". (7) From interview, we know the most important factor that influence learning achievement is the living area and that factor also influence parent's teaching method and children's learning behavior, life adaptation, motivation of achievement, and self-concept.
