本文有鑑於台灣面對時代的各種衝擊，教育問題層出不窮，其中教育方向的迷失、教育方針的不明確更是癥結；再者，本文基於教育以德為核心的本質，從倫理的觀點探求台灣教育主體性的危機，並從良師興國的前提，期許師培機構與教師能強化批判性思考能力，並以之為教學的要旨，共同解決台灣教育主體性的隱憂，創造台灣的未來。本文採用批判性思考方法及分析分法，分別釐清主體性的意義、本質與內涵，並闡述教育主體性的內涵，進而反省台灣教育主體性的隱憂，最後呼籲師資培育機構應覺知其對教育的使命，恪盡教師職責，俾化解台灣教育主體性迷失的危機，並發揮「師者，社會典範」之功，此即藉著培養批判性思考能力，以彰顯台灣教育的主體性，並期能有助於厚實台灣創造輝煌未來的條件。
