中文的主要目的在說明當代西方批判教育哲學的發展。本文首先說明了批判取向的教育理論在當育研究中的重要性,其次再分析了批判取向教育哲學的形成過程,認為批判取向教育哲學的發展深受到批判理論(critical theory)的影響。而為了更完整解釋批判教育哲學的發展,本文分別從德國的批判教育科學及美國的批判教育學分別進行闡述,並比較了兩者在發展及重要觀點上的不同。其次,本文又針對批判取向的教育哲學中一些較具爭議性的問題進行省思與討論。最後,本文又當代社會的發展及特色,說明了新時代批判取向教育哲學所應該有的展望。
The main purpose of the article is to elucidate the developmental process of contemporary critical philosophy of education. Firstly, the author mentions about the significances of critical approach research on contemporary educational study, and explains the historical development of the critical theory and its influences on critical educational philosophy. Secondly, the author also expounds some main theses of critical educational from the perspectives including Kritische Erziehungswissenschaft in Germany and critical pedagogy in United States, and discusses some controversial problems of the critical educational philosophy. Finally, confronting the recent rapid changes of modern society and the coming of globalization and receiving some theoretical influences from postmodernism and post-structuralism, the author suggests that the critical educational philosophy make some adjustments to meet the challenges of new era, but need to maintain the fundamental mission of improving the human society simultaneously.
