　　　　　本研究嘗試走進國小二年級教室的生活世界，實地完整性理解與詮釋一位師院結業實習老師和一位具有多年教學經驗教師之班級經營過程及所運用之策略。 本研究先從學校組織特性切入，瞭解教室的封閉性和自主性以及教室保持安靜的重要性。在觀察中發現保持安靜係來自制度上的壓力一教學進度和成績的壓力、學校行政的壓力及同事間對班級常規管理的看法。再者，描述教師觀點與教師在教室活動的表現，教師說話時間仍佔用大部分上課時問，對於實習老師而言，教師說話時間用於管理學生秩序的時間比有教學經驗的老師多。實習老師受到秩序管理的壓力，亦一直設法維持學生安靜。教師在班級經營策略上，認為「把握剛開學前幾週的關鍵期」、「挑選好的管理幹部協助教師」，「先嚴後鬆」，「保持學生忙碌」，「藉由教學活動管理秩序」，同時「強制性策咯」是班級經營常見的手段。 最後，本研究根據結論，提出對於學校行政組織的啟示：強化學行政支持性服務，加強開學前準備工作，善用多項活動，促進教師交流，班規評量標準宜多元化 ; 對於教師的啟示有，反省自身教育信念，勇於嘗試、創新教室活動，培養學生的隸屬感，班級活動流暢管理; 對教育研究之啟示，具體反映教室生活實體，嘗試鉅觀與微觀研究方法的結合及建立本土化的「班級知識」。
