The purpose of this paper is to explore how to apply an action research to classroom management from three different perspectives. The first part is to introduce the basic concept of action research and to compare an action research with formal research. The second part is to explore the scope and research methods of classroom management. The author also emphasizes the introduction of the research methods, such as survey, correlation research, experimental research, observational research, and interview. The last part is to mention about how to use an action research to make a study of classroom management. The classroom management is a required skill for teachers. If teachers use an action research to explore the problems of classroom management, it can increase the ability of classroom management and change the behavior problems of students. This article encourages teachers to test new ideas, methods to their instruction, and to sustain improvements in education.
