     近年來,國內的教育改革已在各級學校組織中產生深遠的影響,而教 改在國民教育階段的各項改革建議中,尤以「校長為學校首席教師兼任行政首長」 的訴求最深具象徵性意義,對現行「行政管控教學」的學校傳統規範的衝擊亦最 大。基本上,教改此項主張的最主要目的,在於宣示與倡導學校應該重回到「以 教學為主體,行政需支援教學」的體制,俾使教學體制能從學校行政的重重管制 中得到「鬆綁」,並從而發揮應有的教學效能。為呼應教改上述主張,本文針對 國內外的相關文獻做一有系統的搜集與分析,並針對「校長教學領導」的定義與 內涵做一歸納與統整。在本文中共歸納出六項校長的主要教學領導層面,分別 為:「發展教學任務與目標」、「確保課程品質」、「確保教學品質」、「促進教師專 業成長」、「增進學生學習氣氛」、與「發展支持之工作關係」。 此外,針對上述六項校長的主要教學領導層面,本文更進一步的提出六項校 長教學領導上的實務建議,即:1. 發展以「教學為主體」的任務與願景並將學 校團隊工作與學校的願景做緊密結合;2. 適時適地出現在教學現場來協助教 師;3. 了解成人再學習的特徵以激發教職員再學習的動機;4. 校長要扮演教學 支持者與教導的角色而不是裁判者;5. 營造一個鼓勵學習的情境以充分發揮教 職員的才能與6. 營造一個鼓勵學生學習的情境,以提高學習效能,藉以說明校 長「如何成為一位學校的教學領導者」。
