題名:國內男女高中生在科學成就上差異性影響因素之研究

本研究主要是從生物基因因素、家庭教養及學校教育因素、社會環境因素之面向,來探討國內男女高中學生在科學學習成就上之差異,並嘗試透過家庭和學校教育方面、社會教育方面及政府法規制度方面之途徑,尋找出解決前述問題之方法。
本研究以國內高中男女學生為研究對象,進行問卷調查。所得資料經描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析及Pearson積差相關等統計方法,加以分析與討論,具體的結論如下:
一、研究結果顯示男女高中生在生物基因因素、家庭教養及學校教育因素和社會環境因素的知覺感受,有顯著的不同。
二、大部分男高中生都認為男性在科學成就方面不管是從生物基因、學校教育及生活教育方面,皆擁有較強的優勢。
三、不同年級對生物基因和家庭教養及學校教育因素,沒有顯著性差異,但是不同年級與社會環境之間有顯著差異。
四、不同就讀組別對社會環境和家庭教養及學校教育因素,沒有顯著性差異,但是不同就讀組別生物基因因素與之間有顯著差異。
五、不同父親教育程度與生物基因、家庭教養及學校教育和社會環境因素沒有顯著性差異。
六、不同母親教育程度與生物基因、家庭教養及學校教育和社會環境因素沒有顯著性差異。
七、不同父親職業與生物基因、家庭教養及學校教育和社會環境因素沒有顯著性差異。
八、不同母親職業與生物基因、家庭教養及學校教育和社會環境因素沒有顯著性差異。
九、男女高中生在家庭和學校教育、社會教育及政府法規因素的知覺感受有顯著的不同。
十、不同年級與家庭和學校教育、社會教育及政府法規因素等三個變項之間並沒有顯著差異。
十一、不同就讀組別與家庭和學校教育、社會教育及政府法規因素等三個變項之間並沒有顯著差異。
十二、不同的父親教育程度與政府法規因素有顯著差異。
十三、不同母親教育程度與家庭和學校教育、社會教育及政府法規因素等三個變項之間並沒有顯著差異。
十四、不同的父親職業與政府法規因素有顯著差異。
十五、不同的母親職業與政府法規因素有顯著差異。
以上的研究結果,發現在當前高中生的認知中,科學成就確實存在著差異性,且在解決科學差異性的策略中,以透過政府法規這項策略最獲得認同,期能做為教育行政單位,未來制定科學教育政策的參考。
The study aimed to investigate the differences in the academic achievement of both male and female high school students in Taiwan by looking at such factors as genes, parenting, school education and social environment. Based on the analysis of home education, school education, social education as well as national educational policies and regulations, the study attempted to offer suggestions for further policy-making in science education in Taiwan.
The subjects of the study are male and female Taiwanese high school students. Following the completion of questionnaire, the collected data were then analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way anova, and pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The findings of this study are as follows:
1. There are significant differences in the personal perceptions of male and female Taiwanese on the effects
of genetic factors, parenting, school education and social education.
2. Most male high school students hold that they are at an advantage in science learning in terms of genetic factors, school education and life education.
3. Age makes no significant differences to the effects of genetic factors, parenting and school education on science learning. However, there is a notable difference between age and social environment.
4. There is no striking difference between the students’ choice of academic stream and such factors as social environment, parenting and school education. Yet, there is a significant difference between academic stream and genetic factors.
5. There is no marked difference among the educational background of the participants’ fathers, genes, parenting, school education and social environment.
6. There is no marked difference among the educational background of the participants’ mothers, genes, parenting, school education and social environment.
7. There is no marked difference among the career of the participants’ fathers, genes, parenting, school education and social environment.
8. There is no marked difference among the career of the participants’ mothers, genes, parenting, school education and social environment.
9. There is no crucial difference among the perceptions of male and female high school students on science learning, family background, school education, social education and government educational regulations.
10. There is no crucial difference among participants’ grade, family background, school education, social education and government educational regulations.
11. There is no crucial difference among participants’ choice of academic stream, family background, school education, social education and government educational regulations.
12. There are striking differences between the educational background of the participants’ fathers and government educational regulations.
13. There is no crucial difference among the educational background of the participants’ mothers, family background, school education, social education and government educational regulations.
14. There are striking differences between the career of the participants’ fathers and government educational regulations.
15. There are striking differences between the career of the participants’ mothers and government educational regulations.
The findings reported in the current study suggest that, judging from the personal perceptions of the participants in this study, there exist distinct differences in the academic achievement of the high school students in Taiwan. Furthermore, when the need of devising new strategies to resolve the differences in the science learning achievement of high school students arises, it would be mostly recognized to bring in new educational regulations, which also corresponds with the anticipation of the researcher.
