本研究本主要在探討社會資本在家庭代際人力資本傳遞歷程的影響力,也就是探討父母親的人力資本、經濟資本及社會資本與子女學業成就的關係。本研究以父母的教育成就代表父母親的人力資本,以家庭每月收入代表父母親的經濟資本,以數學成就代表子女的人力資本,檢驗父母的人力資本、經濟資本是否能透過社會資本的運用,而能對子女人力資本的提昇有所幫助?本研究以國中三年級學生為對象,所使用的方法為問卷調查法,共有953 位學生參與研究,研究結果證實家庭社會資本確實在家庭代際人力資本的傳遞中發揮重要的作用,高家庭社會資本的學生擁有較高的數學成就。
The study aims to investigate the influence of transmitting process of social capital in the family inter-generation human capital. That is, it investigates the relationships among parent’s human capital, economic capital, social capital, and children’s academic achievement. In this study, we represent parent’s educational achievement as parent’s human capital. Family monthly income represents parent’s economic capital. And mathematics’ achievement represents children’s human capital. Can parent’s human capital and economic capital be helpful for promoting children’s human capital through the application of social capital? The sample of this study consisted of 953 12th graders in junior high schools. This study used a questionnaire survey to collect data. The results of this study showed that family social capital significantly influenced the transmitting process of family human capital from generation to generation. And high level students in family social capital have good mathematics’ achievement.
