題名:影響數學成就因素在結構方程式模型檢定:以2003年臺灣國二生TIMSS資料為例

本研究以台灣國二生參加TIMSS 2003 年資料探討影響數學成就因素。樣本共4,636 份,本研究將影響因素分為家庭文化資本、學校學習、課後及學生特質因素,並以數學成就為依變項。同時使用結構方程式模型來檢定四個構面對學業成就影響。而檢定模式適配度是以卡方值、GFI、AGFI、IFI、CFI、PGFI、NNFI、RMR、RMSEA、CN、Q 圖作為主要評鑑模式指標。研究發現,上述指標來檢視本研究所設定模式大致適配。其研究意義是:家庭文化資本、在校學習、課後及學生特質都對數學成就有正向顯著影響,其中以學生特質影響最大。針對上述結果,本研究提出建議。
Data from the Third International Mathematics and Science Survey of 2003 (TIMSS 2003) were used to investigate variables that predicted achievement in mathematics of 8th graders in Taiwan. The sample consisted of 4,636 participants in this study. Our variables were categorized to four dimensions, that is, cultural capital, school’s factors, outside school’s factors, and student’s characters factors. Our study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test a proposed model. In the study, the indexes used to test the fitness of the model included the χ2 value, GFI, AGFI, IFI, CFI, PGFI, NNFI, RMR, RMSEA, CN, and Q-plot. All the indexes showed that the model was a fit model. Based on this model, cultural capital, school’s factors, outside school’s factors, and student’s factors significantly influenced mathematic achievement. Especially, the student’s characters was the most important factor in the model. From these findings, some suggestions were given.
