  本研究旨在探討不同組織生命週期階段的國小,其校長權力運用策略、組織生命週期與組織架構類型對學校組織效能之現況與關係,進而驗證學校組織效能結構方程理論模型的關係與適配度。
  本研究主要採取調查研究法,以未合併前的高雄市、高雄縣與屏東縣的國小教師為研究對象,研究工具為研究者自編的「國民小學組織概況問卷」。採多階段分層立意抽樣方法,回收可用690份問卷。本研究進行平均數、單因子變異數分析、積差相關、典型相關、集群分析、區別分析、多元迴歸分析、結構方程模式等統計方法,進行驗證各項假設。依據資料分析與討論的結果,本研究結論計有八項:
一、國民小學教師普遍認同學校組織效能的成效
二、國民小學校長經常使用多元的權力運用策略,藉以增進學校組織效能
三、校長須瞭解學校組織生命週期特性,促使學校組織運作順暢
四、校長能體認學校組織是多元並存而不偏頗,不失為一個完整社會系統之架構類型
五、處於衰退階段的校長,整合各層面的學校組織效能,亟思能獲致再生契機;其它階段的校長,則須健全成員心理成熟準備度
六、學校組織架構特性與學校組織效能間的關係密切,且是校長權力運用策略增進學校組織效能的重要中介因素

八、本研究所提出的整合型學校組織效能之理論模式,存有直接效果、間接效果與整體效果等因果關係
This study is designed to explore the current status and correlation between the principal’s power exercise strategy, the school organizational structure pattern and the school’s organizational effectiveness in the elementary schools with the different life- cycle stages. Furthermore, it aims to authenticate the correlation and the goodness-of-fit between the school’s organizational effectiveness and the structural equation theory modeling.
This study mainly adopts the survey research method. Its study target subjects include the teachers of the elementary schools in Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung County before their coalition and Pingtung County. The study tool is the 「Questionnaire of the Overview on the Elementary School Organization」, self-compiled by the researcher himself. It utilizes the multi-stage stratified purposive sampling method with 690 available questionnaires recovered. This study conducts such statistical methods as mean, one-way ANOVA (analysis of variance), canonical correlation, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, multiple regression analysis and structural equation modeling with a view of going through with authenticating various hypotheses. According to the results of the data analysis and discussions, there are totally eight conclusions in this study, as listed below:
I.In general, the teachers of the elementary schools recognize the effect of the school’s organizational effectiveness.
II.The elementary school principals often use the plural power exercise strategy so as to enhance the school’s organizational effectiveness.
III.The principals have to understand the traits of the school’s organizational life-cycle in order to facilitate the smooth operation of the school’s organization.
IV.The principals can realize the plural coexistence of the school’s organization without bias to make it no less than the structural pattern of a complete social system.
V.Those principals who fall into a decline stage have to integrate the school’s organizational effectiveness in all aspects and make strenuous efforts in acquiring the rebirth chances, while those principals at other stages must solidify the members’ extent of preparation for their mental maturity.
VI.The structural features of the school’s organization is closely correlated to the effectiveness of the school’s organization and such a close correlation is an important intermediary factor for the principal’s power exercise strategy to promote the school’s organizational effectiveness.
VII.The life-circle of the school’s organization is closely correlated to the effectiveness of the school’s organization and such a close correlation is an important intermediary factor for the principal’s power exercise strategy to reinforce the school’s organizational effectiveness.
VIII.Such cause and effect relationships as the direct effect, the indirect effect and the entire effect exist in the theoretical model of the effectiveness of the integration-type school’s organization, proposed by this study.
